This officially starts the clock for accepting comments with a deadline of December 9th, 2013. You can comment electronically here: http://www.regulations.gov/#!documentDetail;D=ATF_FRDOC_0001-0016 And of course I encourage you to write because nothing is as effective as a bag full of mail.
I encourage all in the NFA world to take the time to read this proposed rule, write your thoughts and opinions on the same, and send those comments to the ATF. AND spread the word. The volume of comments will say a lot about how easy this change will go through.
